Today is my last day (actually half day) at the Multimedia Camp. I had a wonderful time and learnt a lot. I would like to give a public thank you to Ps. Brad and Ms. McQuaker for all the work they have done and I hope they are blessed for it.
Check out the last picture blog.
Tuesday, 30 June 2009 – Afternoon
This afternoon wound down and you can tell it is nearing the end of Camp. My lasy day will probably be tomorrow, and I am going to miss the Camp, but I also need a break.
Check out this afternoon’s picture blog.
Tuesday, 30 June 2009 – Midday
I am sad to say that we have lost some of our Multimedia Camp members due to the sparse variety of tasks left to do. Dom, Nick and Ben were great assets to the camp and will be sorely missed. I was helping Dylan edit today’s podcast for a little bit but then I had to go and do other work.

Tuesday, 30 June 2009 – Morning
Today, we came into the room and sat down around the meeting table. Brad started off with funny stories and then got down to business by instructing us in what our tasks would be. I was to create picture blogs as usual, Ben and Nick were to help with the blogging, Corey was to continue duplicating, and the others were to help film and edit. Brad prayed over us and the mission team that had departed today. The holy spirit has been present in the camp in a very real way.

Monday, 29 June 2009 – Afternoon
The afternoon was pretty subdued because everyone was getting worn out from the stress of the dwindling time left before the project is to be complete. I was creating picture blogs and taking pictures throughout the afternoon with little excitement.
You should see this afternoons picture blog.
Monday, 29 June 2009 – Midday
One of the tasks assigned was that Cat and Dylan were to do today’s podcast, and they were going to do a comedy spin to it. Ben, Nick and I tagged along. However due to unforseen problems, Dylan was called back in to redo editing that he had made a mistake on. Check out the picture blog for midday.
Monday, 29 June 2009 – Morning
Today I came in at around 8:30, but everyone was waiting outside because neither Ms. McQuaker nor Ps. Brad had arrived, due to the fact that they had stayed late last night to fix other’s mistakes. Ms. McQuaker was the first to arrive and she let us into the room and gave us a quick meeting before we were told to do various tasks. Ps. Brad then arrived with Beth and gave us a more detailed lecture about why we should listen to what he says. The lecture was in regards to the mess that the people who had created the picture in picture boards had made. It had some technical talk about pixel size.
Today was all about real world experience because it was the first day of the holidays and we had to come to the Multimedia Camp. Saturday and Sunday were also real world experiences.

Saturday, 27 June 2009 – Lunch
At about 11:30, the families of some of the Multimedia Camp participants rocked up and were given the tour of the studio and THE ROOM. While everyone was being entertained upstairs by Ps. Brad, Corey, his Mum, Ms. McQuaker, Dylan and I set about trying to get the BBQ to work. Unfortunately the first BBQ had a leak in the gas hose and so we had to get the second BBQ. Dylan and I went up to maintenance to get the second BBQ and then brought it back to under the de-mountable. Corey our marvellous chef cooked the burger patties and then everybody came downstairs for the BBQ. The food was comprised of buns, patties, Woolworths salads, cheese and sauces. After we had our helpings, Spencer and Rebecca brought down the two cakes, one was a mud cake and the other was half of a cheesecake. Brad had the pleasure of cutting the cake after he had read his card out loud. To no-one’s surprise Brad took the biggest piece of the cheesecake and had a massive bite.

Saturday, 27 June 2009 – Morning
Well, we are all anticipating the BBQ for lunch, but before we can eat our delicious, blessed meal, we must first get cracking into our work. Once again we set up for the interview with Ms. McQuaker, but once again it was a no shoot. Also Corey brought in banana cake and Stephanie’s mother made us muffins.
Brad gave us a lecture on various aspects of Multimedia Camp and he told us what we needed to continue with or if we needed to do something new.
I invite you to check out my picture blog for this morning.
Friday, 26 June 2009 – Afternoon
This afternoon people were all over the place doing things for the main project. I was taking pictures and making another picture blog – so demanding *cough, cough* - while some worked their butts off, however there were some people who had very little to do because the day was winding down. Quite a few crew members left at 3 pm, but some stayed – I myself will stay till 5 pm and then head home for some de-multimedia-camping.
I urge you to check out my swimmingly awesome picture blog for the afternoon.
