Boy oh boy has this week been amazing. We are coming to the closing of the camp. School is out and we have completed an outstanding amount of work.
The main thing that I have learnt throughout this process is how much is involved in multimedia. You cannot expect to do it with one person. It takes a whole team of people each with their own gifts and talents to be used in their own fields.
Another important thing that I have learnt is that things don’t always go according to plan; you might just have to suck it up and go on. Ps Brad has shown us what it’s like to be in the ‘real’ world. I realised that I would have been fired…several times, but I’m only learning and what i have learnt will not only help me complete this goal but it will help me in years to come.
This week I have been flat out doing a number of different tasks ranging from backgrounds, boards for the video, creating the banner which you will see on the main blog page, helping create the cover design for the DVD and several other tasks that Brad laid upon me.

Ps Brad has been running us full speed all week, so ill give you a little run down on what has been going on thus far…

This week has started with the usual geek talk by our one and only nerd Ps Brad. He is an amazing and incredibly smart man who has come all the way down under to teach us and impart in us some skills and techniques to complete the massive mission ahead of us.

Media is an incredible tool that has been laid out for the world and its my honour to be able to learn so much about it.

Everyone on this camp has had there little bit to keep everything working smoothly. My main job for the past couple of days has been paired with Steph G, another amazing artist. With her help i have been able to recreate the school logo and make our own Multimedia Camp Logo which can be used for many different things including the blog, podcasts and the Dvd itself.

I have also been working to help with the background images for the slides that you will see in the dvd and the cover for the DVD cover that is looking incredible.
As well as taking spontanious photos of the day and talking to Brad’s friend from America.
That pretty much sums up what i have been doing thus far. I will be working along side the beautiful Jess P to work with informing parents about SMS language ie: LOL, OMG and things parents should know ie: POS…(if you have no idea on what that means you might want to get a copy of the DVD)

It has been full on and is still going in through the night.
